Here at The Altered Rose we like to recognise that everyone has a different style. This is why each piece is unique and is a statement piece for you!

We can customise everything from your dining room table through to an ancient heirloom piece of furniture. If it’s solid wood we can create a design that gives you joy. Veneer pieces are on a case by case basis.

A traditional restoration takes a piece back to its original glory. Repairs, where applicable will be made and borer treatment can also be carried out. Old varnish, wax or oil coatings can be stripped, and a new finish of your choice applied. We will guide you through all the choices available for your piece.

Custom Alterations can be everything from changing your bedroom suite from dark to light, through to an in-depth design appointment to create something really unique and special.
We have a portfolio of pieces that are available to customise or you can procure your own piece of used furniture.
